Digital Story
Hi! My name is Suzanne and this is my digital story, finally! I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and never really appreciated the wonderful town until I moved away. I decided that it would be a great topic for my Digital Story, more specifically the Snowbowl which is one of Flagstaff's main attractions. The Snowbowl holds special meaning to me because it is where I tragically lost my father who died in a skiing accident. It was great to finally, with the help of my mother, share my story and to wish him a Happy Birthday as this October he would be 59! I hope you enjoy and learn some new information, as well I highly recommend visiting Flagstaff and the Snowbowl if you ever get the chance.
Side Note: I think it would be awesome in the future to create a video of bloopers that students had from their digital storys. I know I had a few that I was dying to share and well they really helped me to laugh when I was feeling stressed about the project!

Wow this is great! I did not know that you too have lost your father.
Wow I do not get up to Flagstaff enough - your pictures are great.
I wonder if I will get the chance to go skiing this winter?

I wonder what your bloopers were like? ;)
I had some pretty good ones myself.
I think it would be a really good idea to have students submit their bloopers.
You should bring it up in class.
I know it would have been nice to see students from semesters before try to make their videos and get a laugh or too.

Wow, Flagstaff gets tons of snow!
Wow, I have never heard of the snowbowl before!
I wonder how cold it is in Flagstaff during the winter?

Snowbowl is a lot of fun.
It is always nice to be able to drive just 2 hours and be in the snow.

Hey Suzanna, I think your movie turned out great. I really liked all the effects and images. Your video has lots of great snowbowl images and the history added at the end came together really nicely. Your interview came out perfectly, with professional voice and your interviee did a nice job telling about Flagstaff.
